Testimonials
Working with Pharmacist Agbomma Esom-Ibe FPSN over the years. Here are some of the things I have learnt about her style of Leadership and these are things that have guided my journey into leadership. If you follow these principles, one of the things you are assured of is results.
Here are 5 that are key for me;
1. Increased Flexibility: Her style of Leadership responds quickly to changing circumstances, allowing for greater adaptability and innovation.
2. Faster Decision-Making: She believes in decentralized decision-making and flatter hierarchies enabling faster and more agile decision-making processes.
3. Improved Collaboration: She is all about teamwork and collaboration, which leads to better communication and more effective problem-solving.
4. Increased Engagement: Empowering colleagues to participate in decision-making which leads to higher motivation, and engagement. I can remember various times she sought my opinion as an ordinary member of ACPN Rivers State and I was elated seeing some of my ideas implemented and the success that came out of it.
5. Enhanced Innovation: She encourages creativity, experimentation, and innovation to stay ahead of the curve and respond to new opportunities. Those who are partners of Wellahealth, Shelflife and Mpharma can relate to this when those companies launched in Port Harcourt.
This support is one that is dear to my heart.

In 2021, Pharm. Agbomma Esom-Ibe in her capacity as ACPN Chairman courageously led Rivers CPs into the electoral storm of the ACPN National Elections.
We remember with fondness her massive mobilization of Rivers CPs to Abeokuta and skillful networking with other States to drum up support for the candidacy of Pharm. Wale Oladigbolu FPSN;
– Four fully loaded Coaster buses from Port Harcourt.
– Over 100 Rivers CPs arriving Abeokuta in pomp and style
– Political alignments with other States
– Leading all efforts from the front!
To the glory of God, these efforts were not in vain as Pharm. Wale Oladigbolu emerged as National Chairman, displaying one of the most impactful tenure ever seen in the annals of ACPN.

I had the privilege of working with Pharm. Agbomma in 2017, shortly after returning from my internship. From February to December of that year, before proceeding for my National Youth Service, I worked under her guidance at AB Pharmaceuticals. Those ten months were profoundly impactful and remain some of the most formative months of my professional journey.
Pharm. Agbomma taught me far more than pharmaceutical care or community pharmacy practice—she instilled in me the leadership skills I carry with me today. She ensured I was fully engaged in all aspects of community pharmacy, giving me frontline opportunities such as representing the pharmacy at the COPA and during the HIV/AIDS program rollout to community pharmacies. She would often say, “They already know me; they need to know you,” pushing me to take initiative and embrace leadership.
What started as a professional relationship gradually evolved into a deeply personal one—what I now cherish as a mother-daughter bond. Pharm. Agbomma is not only a mentor to me but has also nurtured countless young pharmacists, even from their student days. While I could name many, I will respectfully leave out names.
Pharm. Agbomma is undoubtedly the right choice for the PSN Chairmanship in Rivers State. She is competent, embodies and radiates leadership, and stands out for her integrity and innovation. Most notably, she is an active listener who values ideas, regardless of who shares them or their age. Pharm. Agbomma is the leader we need—and truly deserve—at the helm of PSN Rivers.

How do I briefly describe a woman who has impacted my journey in pharmacy more than she probably knows? She has been more than a mentor to me, she’s been a source of encouragement, wisdom, and quiet strength.
I still remember when I was hesitant about taking on leadership. I didn’t feel ready. But Pharm. Agbonmma saw something in me and gently pushed me to become a Zonal Coordinator. Her words gave me confidence, and her belief in me helped me step into a role I would have otherwise shied away from. That one decision opened up so many doors for me, and I’ll always be grateful to her for that.
She’s guided me with patience and humility, never overbearing, always supportive. When I decided to pursue further studies, she didn’t hesitate to write me a beautiful reference letter. It meant a lot, not just because of the letter, but because she genuinely wanted to see me grow.
What has always inspired me most about her is how she balances everything in her career, her family, and her leadership with grace. She’s shared stories with me about being a mother while pursuing her dreams without ever giving up. It’s something I carry with me today.
Pharm. Agbonmma leads by example. She lifts others. She listens. She encourages. And that’s why I believe she is more than deserving to be the next PSN Chairman of Rivers State. Her leadership would be a blessing to us all, and I truly believe we are lucky to have her among us.
With all sincerity,

I worked with Pharmacist Agbomma Esom-Ibe when I was the Secretary of Okporo Zone. She is a woman whose word is her bond, who delivers on her promises, who goes the extra mile. I remember when we had some cases of non-registered places posing as pharmacies she asked us to get a list of these places with their addresses so that it is documented. She believes in documenting things, one of the qualities of a good leader. She personally submitted this list to the then PCN Registrar, who then sent a Task Force to Rivers State immediately.
This is the kind of leader we need. One who knows the way and goes the way. One who can boldly advocate for Pharmacists wherever and whenever it is needed.
Please vote Pharmacist Agbomma Esom-Ibe for Chairman PSN RIVERS.
